BACT TO WORK January 2014

 

Beloved in Christ.

  Happy new year, to you all from Kabala Sierra Leone. We hope you did enjoyed your Holiday,[ Christmas  and new year] For us in Kabala it was our first experience outside our usual celebrations back home . But we praised God it all went well, All my Children were here , so we both enjoy God’s blessings during the festive period.

Here in Kabala it was a whole week celebration with different kinds of cultural dance from the entire Eleven Chiefdoms that make up Koinadugu district, each coming to Kabala with their various dancing groups. The President of Sierra Leone. Dr. Ernest B Koroma was here on 30 Dec. ,stayed up to the First of January to welcome the New year. Then on First January was full of activities such as picnic to resort areas and also the climbing of the Kabala Mountain. We did not climbed the mountain with them , but we could watch form the Town , and hear the drumming and music coming down from Top the Mountain

  Yesterday 6th January , we all resumed work at the office, it  was yet another time for sharing of testimonies of the happenings during the Holiday. One interesting Testimony we hard was the one coming from one of the Pastors , Rev. Kamara, who told us that , one of his members at the Church in Kondebaia , has decided to donate to the Church , a piece of Land in Makeni Town so that we can start a CRC church in Makeni. Makeni is the Regional Headquarters of the Northern Region of Sierra Leone.

It was indeed a good and exciting news for us , because that will help us in our efforts to continue ministry in the Urban Towns of Sierra Leone. Already we have  a Church in Bo , Rokel  and wellington so for us to have another one in Makeni , is really exciting.

  With this news , we are starting the new year  with a zeal for evangelism and Church planting in Sierra Leone, we tag the year, THE YEAR FOR THE FAVOR OF THE LORD, we believed that Christ’ Birth which we celebrated, was God ‘s love and favor for mankind and his mercies and goodness will continue  to be with us all .

Its now very cool here in Kabala, but no snow. Our Brethren in North America , we are aware of the extreme weather you are experiencing now, our cold is not as that. we are praying with you that God will protects you against the harsh weather this year.
